Forse non tutti sanno che il cervello di un neonato è composto da circa 100 miliardi di cellule nervose, come quello di un adulto. L’unica differenza è che nel bambino ancora non sono collegate. La struttura di questa intricata rete di comunicazione si forma grazie alle esperienze fatte nei primi 3 anni di vita, periodo nel quale più si espongono i bambini a stimoli esterni, più le reti neurali si arricchiscono.

Non vogliamo darvi una lezione di neuro scienza, ma solo introdurvi al brand USA di giochi per l’infanzia Lovevery (da pronunciare “Love-every”). A fondarlo Jessica e il compagno della sua migliore amica Rod, che hanno poi coinvolto un vasto gruppo di esperti del settore prima di concepire i loro Play Kits: gruppi di elementi da gioco divisi per età, ognuno dei quali ha la funzione di sviluppare le capacità cognitive, motorie, sociali e comunicative.

I kit, ispirati al metodo Montessori e dai nomi accattivanti (The Free Spirit, The Investigator, The Enthusiast, etc…), sono prodotti in legno ricavato da produzioni sostenibili e cotone organico, carta riciclata e tinture non tossiche. A noi è piaciuto anche il design dallo stile Scandi.

🇬🇧 Perhaps not everyone knows that an infant’s brain is made up of around 100 billion nerve cells, just like that of an adult. The only difference is that in the baby’s one they are not yet connected. The structure of this intricate communication network is formed through experiences during the first three years of life, a period in which the more children are exposed to external stimuli, the more the neural networks are enriched.

We don’t want to give you a lesson in neuroscience, just introducing the US brand of children’s toys Lovevery (pronounced ‘Love-every’). It was founded by Jessica and her best friend’s partner Rod, who then involved a large group of experts in the field before conceiving their Play Kits: groups of play essentials divided by age, each of which has the function of developing cognitive, motor, social and communication skills.

The kits, inspired by the Montessori method and with catchy names (The Free Spirit, The Investigator, The Enthusiast, etc.), are made from sustainably produced wood and organic cotton, recycled paper and non-toxic dyes. We also liked the Scandi-style design.
