Making of Severina + Scimparello Shooting

Come forse saprete sono una collaboratrice di Scimparello Magazine da quando Petra Barkhof ha lanciato il primo numero della sua fantastica rivista nell’inverno del 2018. Anno dopo anno mi sono divertita a disegnare la sezione “Color me” della rivista. Anche le  Severina Kids Fashion Blogger Dolls sono diventate classiche collaboratrici di Scimparello, mostrando in ogni numero i look più chic vestiti da fantastici brand di moda per bambini.
Per l’ultimo numero del magazine e per la nuova sezione Severina + Scimparello sul nostro sito ho fotografato personalmente le Fashion Blogger Dolls in spiaggia.
Per questo editoriale chiamato “Bellezze al Bagno” ho immaginato una sequenza di attività e set e ho disegnato questa sceneggiatura:

As you may know I’ve been a collaborator of Scimparello Magazine since Petra Barkhof launched the first issue of her fantastic magazine in the winter of 2018. Year after year I’ve been enjoying drawing the “Colour me”  section in the magazine. Severina Kids Fashion Blogger Dolls also became classic collaborators of Scimparello, showing in every issue the most chic looks dressed by fantastic children fashion brands.
For the last magazine issue and our brand new Severina + Scimparello section on our Website I personally shot
the Fashion Blogger Dolls in the beach.
For this editorial called “Bellezze al Bagno” I imagined a sequence of activities and sets and I draw this script:

Una volta deciso cosa fotografare, ho iniziato a progettare i set e abbiamo realizzato delle miniature per dare vita alle immagini che avevo in mente. Abbiamo fatto piccoli Cornetti, Ice-lollies, un barbecue, un aquilone e abbiamo stampato mini riviste Scimparello!

Once we decided what to shoot, I started to design the sets and we made miniatures to bring to life the images I had in my mind. We made small Cornettos, Ice-lollies, a BBQ, a kite and we printed mini Scimparello Magazines!!

Con tutto pronto ci siamo diretti verso la spiaggia, e quando abbiamo attraversato una piazza piena delle più belle margherite abbiamo potuto fare a meno di fotografare le bambole che attraversavano quel posto incredibile per andare al mare.

With everything ready we headed to the beach, and when we crossed a square filled with the most gorgeous daisies we could help to shoot the dolls crossing that amazing spot on their way to the sea.
