Non c’è mai un filo conduttore unico nelle collezioni del brand spagnolo The Animals Observatory e la designer Laia Aguilar non segue certo i trend di stagione per creare i suoi pezzi. Come sempre arte, design, cinema sono la sua inesauribile fonte di ispirazione. Gli input per la stagione FW21 arrivano dal très chic dall’attrice francese Charlotte Rampling, dai colori del fotografo Martin Parr, dalle linee dell’architetto Gio Ponti. Vi sembra abbastanza? Ebbene ci sono anche richiami all’arte astratta di Alfred Jensen e un po’ di nostalgia 80s.

Un mix eclettico per una collezione in cui ogni pezzo è unico, ma può essere abbinato a qualsiasi altro. Perché nel mondo The Animals Observatory non ci sono regole. E a noi piace giocare proprio così.

As always, art, design, cinema are her endless sources of inspiration. The inputs for the FW21 season come from the très chic of the French actress Charlotte Rampling, from the colors of the photographer Martin Parr, from the architect Gio Ponti. Is that enough? Well, there are also references to Alfred Jensen’s abstract art and a bit of 80s nostalgia.

An eclectic mix for a collection in which each piece is unique, but can be combined perfectly with any other. Because in the world of The Animals Observatory there are no rules. And we like to play just like that.
