At only seven years old, this young designer has captivated celebrities, runways, and fashion enthusiasts worldwide. From his first request for a mannequin at the age of four to showcasing his creations on international platforms, Max’s journey is nothing short of extraordinary.
Max’s mother, Sherri Madison, recalls the moment his talent came to light. During the pandemic, he declared, “I’m a tailor. Get me a mannequin, and I’ll show you.” Sherri, an artist herself, provided him with a cardboard mannequin—and Max hasn’t stopped since. By five, he was mastering sewing techniques taught by two local seamstresses, and soon after, he held his first fashion show in the family’s backyard. Today, his Instagram page, couture.to.the.max, showcases his vibrant designs and growing fanbase, including Hollywood royalty.

Among his admirers is Sharon Stone, who reached out to Max for a custom coat. Though unaware of her fame, Max graciously accepted, describing her as “very pretty.” His next dream? Designing a rainbow gown for Taylor Swift—an ambitious vision that reflects his boundless creativity.
Despite his meteoric rise, Max is still very much a child. Between sketching and sewing, he finds time for tennis, science experiments, and even his favorite dessert, tiramisu. But when it comes to fashion, he’s all business, directing models with a confidence that leaves everyone in awe.

Sherri credits his success to a mix of innate talent, family support, and a touch of mystery. Max claims to be the reincarnation of Guccio Gucci, a belief that adds another layer to his fascinating story. On a recent trip to Italy, he even remarked, “I’m going home.” Whether or not this claim holds weight, his love for Italian culture is undeniable—he dreams of establishing his fashion house in Italy one day.
Max’s story is a testament to the power of nurturing creativity at any age. As Sherri puts it, “Why hold him back? As long as he balances school and his passion, I’ll always encourage him.

With over 100 designs already under his belt, the future of Couture to the Max is as bright as the designer’s infectious smile. From playful beginnings to high-fashion dreams, Max Alexander is rewriting the rules of the fashion world—one stitch at a time.
