There are editorials that simply show clothes, and others that capture a feeling. This is one of the reasons I chose to publish this story.

When I first saw these images, I felt that quiet moment when the season begins to change. As softly the light enters, something awakens. Textures come alive. Tulle moves with the air. Lace, color, sandals — small signals that nature already understands.

Children often sense it before we do. A new light, a new energy.

This editorial felt like that exact moment to me: the gentle promise that spring is already on its way. The story is also accompanied by a series of beautiful videos, adding movement and atmosphere to these images — like little glimpses of spring slowly unfolding. Petra Barkhof
