Faces are never just faces.

They are little landscapes of emotion: serious, curious, shy, strong, soft, mysterious. In this kids fashion editorial photographed by Franck Malthierry, every portrait captures a different mood, a different personality, a different way of being present in the moment.
I chose this story because it reminds us how expressive children can be without saying a word. A glance, a pause, a small movement of the face can tell an entire story. (Petra Barkhof)
