Sagittarius: Born to Wander
Styling Tip - Oroscopello
They dream of mountains to climb, faraway places to discover and stories waiting to happen. A little free-spirited, a little romantic, they would probably feel right at home in a pair of cowboy boots.
Our Oroscopello winter look takes us straight back to the late ’70s, when life in Ibiza meant romantic dresses, cowboy boots and a carefree attitude. A cosy knit scattered with galloping horses meets a strawberry-print skirt, topped off with a playful pom-pom hat and, of course, those essential cowboy boots. A little country, a little bohemian, and ready to go anywhere.
Two styling tricks to try with what’s already in their wardrobe:
Three different prints can absolutely work together, as long as they share a common colour. Here, red is the little thread connecting the horses, strawberries and hat.
And don’t be afraid to pair cowboy boots with a full, romantic skirt. The boots add just the right amount of attitude, keeping the whole look from feeling too sweet.
A little western spirit goes a long way. Especially when you’re born to wander.
Sagittarians are the explorers of the zodiac, curious, optimistic and always eager to discover what lies beyond the familiar. They are said to love stories, big questions and new experiences. Basically, little people with very big horizons.
The dates.
Sagittarius season runs from 22 November to 21 December in 2026. It’s the ninth sign of the zodiac, arriving just before winter officially begins. A little birthday fact: babies born right around these dates may need their exact birth time checked to determine their Sun sign.
A centaur with a story.
Sagittarius is represented by an archer, traditionally depicted as a centaur: half human, half horse. The symbol is often associated with Chiron, the wise centaur from Greek mythology, known for teaching heroes and sharing his knowledge of medicine, music and archery. A rather wonderful symbol for little ones who are always learning, growing and aiming high.
Eyes on the stars.
Here’s a lovely astronomical coincidence: the centre of our Milky Way lies in the direction of the constellation Sagittarius. In fact, the famous Sagittarius A*, the supermassive black hole at the heart of our galaxy, takes its name from this very constellation. So, quite literally, this sign has its eyes on the universe.
Birthstones and little treasures.
November Sagittarians have topaz as their traditional birthstone, while December babies can claim turquoise, zircon or tanzanite. Topaz is often associated with warmth and abundance, while turquoise has long been considered a stone of protection for travellers. A fitting little keepsake for a sign that loves to wander.
Take it all with a smile: every child writes their own story. But if there’s a little Sagittarius at home, perhaps keep a map, a storybook and a pair of adventurous boots close by.
