Matita, A Celebration of Books and Creativity

Matita, the independent publishing house dedicated to children (and curious grown-ups), is thrilled to participate in the fourth edition of TESTO Florence. This much-anticipated literary event will take place at Stazione Leopolda, Viale Fratelli Rosselli 5, Florence, from February 28 to March 2, 2025, opening daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Matita will proudly present its three-book collection and give visitors a sneak peek at upcoming releases.

Before heading to Florence, Matita invites young readers to an exciting pre-fair event: Un Carnevale WOW! This creative workshop, led by illustrator Ilaria Pittana, will take children (ages 4+) on a journey through shapes, colors, and masks, celebrating Carnival with imagination and fun. Plus, it’s a wonderful way to discover the beauty of Venice through art!

📍 Saturday, February 22, 5 PM – A WOW Carnival! | Padua
A creative workshop for children aged 4 and up, led by Ilaria Pittana, illustrator of the book WOW. A journey through shapes, colors, and masks to celebrate Carnival with imagination and fun, while learning about the city of Venice!

📍 From February 28 to March 2 – Matita a Testo! | Florence
We are thrilled to announce our participation in Testo, the festival dedicated to the world of publishing. You can find us at Stazione Leopolda in Florence, Stand A/60, every day from 10 AM to 8 PM. Come discover our books and chat with us about illustration, architecture, and childhood!
