The Museo Nazionale Scienza e Tecnologia Leonardo da Vinci in šŸ“Milan has unveiled PLAYLAB, a groundbreaking educational space tailored for children aged 3 to 6. Spanning an impressive 400 square meters, this innovative hub invites young minds on their very first museum adventure, blending science, creativity, and play into an unforgettable journey. Rooted in the Museum’s mission to foster education, well-being, and social cohesion, the space provides an immersive environment designed to spark curiosity and nurture a lifelong love for science and technology.

Themed around Exploration and Transformation, PLAYLAB offers five unique spaces that combine STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) learning with storytelling and imaginative play. Hereā€™s what makes PLAYLAB extraordinary:
Interactive Rooms – Four rooms feature artistic installations and activities where children and their adult companions are free to explore, build, and share stories.
The Atelier – A structured workshop space that follows the Museum’s tradition of hands-on labs, encouraging children to dive deeper into experiments and reflect on their discoveries.
Every element in PLAYLAB has been designed to engage children’s social, emotional, and scientific development. From observing and interacting to exploring and storytelling, kids are at the center of the learning process, empowering them to connect with the world in meaningful ways.
