Playtime New York: with love

Following the fair, our way

Playtime New York

We would love to be there.
Playtime New York matters to us — a lot.

It’s an important moment for the kids’ fashion world, a place where ideas meet, brands connect, and the industry shows where it’s heading. We feel close to that energy, and in another scenario, we’d absolutely be walking those aisles.

Unfortunately, we can’t make it.
For a small, independent magazine like ours, New York is simply too expensive.

We already met many of these brands in Paris, so rather than rediscovering them, we’re simply pointing you toward names truly worth your time at Playtime New York — C’era una volta, Bebe Organic, Serendipity Organics, Louise Misha, Halcyon Nights, Play Up, Donsje Amsterdam, The Sunday Collective, Paade Mode, Unlabel, Grech & Co., Gensami, Little Creative Factory — and so many more.

It’s not a lack of interest — it’s a question of scale. And sometimes being independent means making difficult, realistic choices, even when the desire is there.

So we’ll be following Playtime New York from a distance, through trusted voices and thoughtful coverage — starting with Pirouette and the always-sensitive eye of Katie.

We may not be there in person, but we’re very much tuned in.

Watching, listening, and supporting the brands and stories that make this community what it is.

Because being part of a conversation doesn’t always mean being everywhere — sometimes it means staying true to who you are, and how you grow.

If you’re in New York, make sure to stop by — Metropolitan Pavilion, from Sunday 8 to Tuesday 10.
