Fabula 2025
A Colorful Celebration of Creativity and Courage.

In its 15th year, this nationally celebrated creative writing festival returns from July 5 to 10 with a vibrant new format, a bold theme, and a simple invitation to young minds: tell your story. This year’s theme, “Volevo essere un duro” (I wanted to be tough), takes its cue from the poetic and whimsical world of singer-songwriter Lucio Corsi, whose lyrics celebrate the beauty of youthful fragility and the courage to be oneself.

Organized across multiple venues—from the Arena Troisi to the City Council Hall and a specially designed performance area—the festival remains true to its roots: to participate, each child must submit an original fairytale. But that’s just the beginning. Fabula offers a week packed with creative workshops, inspiring talks, and live shows featuring beloved personalities from the entertainment world, web culture, and literature, including Ambra and Pucho.

In a major shift from tradition, the 2025 edition moves to early July, giving families a fresh opportunity to plan their summer around this unforgettable experience. Even better? Kids can now help shape the lineup by posting the name of their favorite artist on Premio Fabula’s social pages. The team will do their best to make those dreams come true—because here, every voice counts.
