The Art of Christmas by Skira
Skira celebrates the holidays with a collection of handcrafted objects inspired by its iconic red and the poetry of books, in collaboration with stylist Marie De Andreis.
You get The Art of Christmas, the new limited-edition collection by Skira, created together with stylist and art director Marie De Andreis.
It’s the kind of collaboration that makes you want to light a candle, open a book, and just… breathe in that holiday feeling. Because yes, this is not your average Christmas collection — it’s a love letter to craftsmanship, design, and the scent of printed pages.
Each object tells a story: the candle smells like an old library (in the best possible way), the soap — made with Maison Ciment — captures the delicate scent of orange blossom, and the graphic striped fabrics (hello, Ettore Sottsass) turn into bags made to carry your favorite reads wherever you go.
With this project, Skira goes beyond books, expanding its creative universe while staying true to its European roots and savoir-faire. A poetic way to say: the art of reading is also the art of gifting.
