Collection Statement
“HULLABALOOVE” is set in a very fantastical world that draws from that of our fluffy, and shape-shifting French friend Barbapapa and his very big family with wife Barbamama and children Barbazoo, Barbalala, Barbabravo, Barbalib, Barbabright, Barbabelle, and Barbabeau, and dog, Lolita. Living a life of contentment, a big, happy family of nine go about their life as usual -uncomplicated and unbothered – little do they know that the next turn is about to change their lives. A window transports them into a technicolor 2-dimensional parallel universe, a world filled with flowers and bees, tiny round homes, and long winding streets – a place where everything nice happens. This new land transforms the family of nine into unusual shape shifters, colourful like candy floss, as they live far away from the world they left for the new one of innocent chaos, laughter, merriment, and, above all – LOVE.
