Take Me Back to Tivoli was born during a holiday in Copenhagen, when photographer Erica Allen spent an afternoon with her daughter Coco and started taking pictures.

Erica is a professional photographer with more than 20 years of experience, a career that began in New York and developed between Los Angeles and Copenhagen. Her work is known for its clean elegance, sophisticated light and strong sense of composition. But this story was not a big production.
It was simply an afternoon with her daughter.
Coco walks through Copenhagen, eats chips by the water, rides a bike, stops at Tivoli, looks into the camera and then looks away again. Everything feels natural, spontaneous and real. The city becomes part of the story, but never too much. It is simply there, around her.
I chose this editorial because it captures a beautiful teenage moment: that age between childhood and growing up, where style becomes more personal, gestures become more confident, and a simple afternoon can already feel like a little memory. (Petra Barkhof)
