Scorpio: A Little Mystery
Styling Tip - Oroscopello
power of a little mystery.
Scorpio children are said to watch everything before they join in. They feel things deeply, choose their favourites for life and, once they decide something, they find a way. So their look should be the same: confident, a little enigmatic, with a surprise hidden somewhere.
Our Oroscopello look is all black: a sheer ruffled blouse, a sharply pleated skirt, polished loafers and a glossy bucket hat for an unexpected edge. When everything is black, the textures do the talking. Ruffles bring softness, leather brings shine, pleats bring structure. Then one playful touch, just one: white flowers on black socks, peeking out above the loafers.
This look is perfect for Halloween, which falls right in the middle of Scorpio season, or for a walk among the marigolds of Día de Muertos, the day to remember the people we love. And once the party is over, every piece goes straight back into the everyday winter wardrobe.
No costume needed. To turn this look into a Halloween look, all you need is a little face paint.
The Baby Look
A soft knit cardigan and a bonnet with a tassel, over a moon-print romper, all by Organic Zoo. A dry leaf with googly eyes is all the Halloween they need. Spooky, but cosy.
Born in 2026: the Scorpio babies
We are not astrologers, just two curious people who love this page. But if a baby is arriving in your family this autumn, here is what tradition says about the little Scorpios of 2026: expect watchful eyes, big hearts and a lot of determination. Scorpio is a water sign too, so bath time may become the best part of the day.
The dates. In 2026 the Sun is in Scorpio from 23 October until the morning of 22 November, so a baby born early on the 22nd is still a little Scorpio.
A rare Fire Horse year. In the Chinese zodiac, 2026 is the Year of the Fire Horse, which comes around only once every 60 years. The last one was in 1966. Fire Horses are said to be bold, free-spirited and full of energy. Add a Scorpio’s quiet determination, and you have a little one who knows exactly what they want.
The sky of 2026. This year’s babies arrive with Jupiter, the planet of luck, in Leo, which astrologers link with warmth, generosity and a love of the spotlight. Saturn and Neptune both moved into Aries in 2026, the first sign of the zodiac: astrologers read it as the start of a new cycle, and call these children a generation of little pioneers.
Birthstones and birth flowers. October babies have the opal and the marigold, the same flower of Día de Muertos. November babies have the topaz and the chrysanthemum. A lovely idea for a first piece of jewellery or a birth announcement.
Take it all with a smile: every child writes their own story.
Cool, confident and slightly enigmatic: winter dressing with serious personality.
