Forget the rules of dressing up: Christina Rohde’s FW26 collection has a different kind of dress code. Oversized flowers, theatrical bows, puffed sleeves and skirts with enough volume to cause a minor traffic jam all make an appearance, alongside hoodies and chunky black shoes that bring the whole fantasy back down to earth. It’s a little bit fairy tale, a little bit fashion rebellion, and entirely uninterested in behaving.
Because when it comes to getting dressed, why settle for ordinary when you can make an entrance?

Flowers, but Make Them Fashion
Forget delicate little daisies politely sitting on a collar. Here, flowers take up space. Giant tulips bloom across candy-pink shirts and skirts, while painterly blossoms cover dresses in shades of purple, blue and fiery red. The prints feel almost larger than life, as if someone had wandered into a flower shop and accidentally ordered the entire garden.
The result is playful without being sugary, with bold colours and unexpected combinations that give even the most romantic pieces a wonderfully offbeat twist.

A Little Volume Goes a Long Way
If FW26 has a favourite word, it might be more. More ruffles, more tulle, more puffed sleeves, more fabric doing its own thing. Shirts come with exaggerated shoulders and generous bows, dresses swing into sculptural shapes, and skirts build volume in all the right places.
There is a delicious sense of occasion to some of these looks, but nothing feels too precious to play with. A black dress with a feather-like texture, a grey sweatshirt paired with a full skirt: each outfit has its own little plot twist. Even the simplest pieces seem ready to steal the scene.

What makes Christina Rohde collection so appealing is the way it refuses to take a single fashion mood too seriously. Romantic doesn’t have to mean sweet, black doesn’t have to mean serious, and a hoodie can live quite happily in the same wardrobe as a dramatic tulle skirt.
And honestly, if childhood isn’t the time to wear enormous flowers, oversized bows and a skirt with enough volume to have its own postcode, when is?
