For Autumn/Winter 2026, AO76 celebrates its 50th anniversary with a collection that proudly embraces its Belgian roots. Titled Proud to be Belgian, the new season reflects five decades of craftsmanship, creativity and contemporary childrenswear, combining premium quality with a playful, optimistic spirit.

Entirely designed in-house in Belgium, the FW26 collection pays tribute to the brand’s heritage while introducing a fresh, modern wardrobe for boys and girls aged 4 to 16. Every print, fabric and silhouette has been carefully developed to express AO76’s distinctive identity, where comfort, authenticity and refined details meet vibrant colour combinations and effortless styling.

Warm textures and luxurious materials define the season. Soft knits are enriched with cashmere, brushed yarns and textured fabrics, while premium cottons and contemporary finishes ensure comfort throughout the colder months. Rich seasonal shades such as cream, pastel green and earthy neutrals are complemented by energetic accents of bright pink, orange, deep blue and vivid green, bringing warmth and optimism to autumn and winter wardrobes.

Relaxed silhouettes remain central to the collection, introducing updated fits including wide-leg trousers for girls and comfortable baggy pants for boys. Statement knitwear, oversized plaid shirts, playful graphic sweatshirts and cosy teddy jackets create versatile layering pieces designed for everyday adventures. The collection is completed by the exclusive 50th Anniversary Sweater, a limited-edition style celebrating AO76’s remarkable milestone.

For more formal occasions, AO76 presents its Orange Label, a refined capsule featuring timeless tailoring with a contemporary twist. Smart suits, elegant knitwear, luxurious faux fur, velvet textures, sparkling embellishments and sophisticated details offer elevated looks while maintaining the brand’s relaxed and youthful character.

WE ARE FAMILY OWNED

The captains of the AO76 ship are ‘Patricia Vandemoortele & Gaspard Poelman’, mother and son with great talent and style. Together they uplifted the company of their (grand)father ‘Etienne Vandemoortele’ to a brand and established value in the Belgian
fashion market. Patricia’s son Gaspard, recently joined them to follow in their footsteps and lead AO76 into the future.

WE DESIGN IN BELGIUM

We are a small local fashion brand, founded in Heusden and rooted in Nazareth, nearby Ghent. Every single piece runs through a unique authentic design proces taking place one hundred percent in house. Occasionally we co-work together with young Belgian artists for a special Art work print or new inspiration.

WE STAY TRUE TO OUR ROOTS

In the golden seventies sportswear hit the streets of America and colored the fashion industry big time! In 1976 Etienne Van De Moortele started importing these USA sports brands to Belgium, as one of the very first in the branche. Today we still have a lot of casual, easy- to-wear sportswear in our collection.

We create our own unique fittings, we are passionate in our choose of fabrics and we use special production techniques to lift our product to the next level.
We want kids to shine and feel beautiful in their AO76 outfits.

WE CREATE PLAYFUL ART WORK

We create strong graphic art work and we like our prints to breath out a certain funniness. Our collections are styled with a twist and always contain a lot of special subtle details to make them ‘one of a kind’.
