For Fall/Winter 2026, Gensami presents its new Newborn collection, a celebration of Italian craftsmanship, refined materials and thoughtful details that honour the most authentic bonds. Each piece is designed to accompany the earliest moments of life, becoming a cherished memory made to last.

At the heart of the collection is the iconic Yellow Thread, Gensami’s signature. Placed on the left side of the body, close to the heart, the yellow thread represents the invisible bond that connects those who love one another, while evoking the light that every child brings into their family. A discreet yet highly distinctive detail.

The colour palette unfolds through delicate, timeless shades: beige, soft greys, powder pink and sky blue alternate across a refined, contemporary wardrobe. Quality remains at the heart of the collection, with natural fibres such as extra-fine merino wool, precious cashmere and virgin wool blends, cotton, viscose and other organic yarns, carefully selected to ensure softness and comfort.

One of the season’s key new additions is velvet, taking centre stage across a selection of garments and accessories. Alongside the iconic Al Pacchino, the new Gensami teddy bear makes its debut, crafted from Italian velvet and designed to accompany the earliest moments of life. The same material is used for sleeping bags, birth bows and essential silhouettes created for girls.

Gensami’s iconic layette pieces remain at the heart of the collection, expressing the excellence of Italian craftsmanship. Newborn sets are enriched with embroidery created using the traditional Cornely technique, lending each piece a sense of dimension and decorative richness. Butterflies for girls and olive branches for boys elegantly evoke symbols of grace, serenity and hope.
