Inspired by and reflecting Sonia Delaunay’s belief that colour is the essence of the world, Main Story presents its 16th collection. Delaunay, artist, and designer, developed her own principles about colour, expressed through the sensation of movement created by placing contrasting colours side by side. We love her for her use of colour, her vibrant touches, and bravery in scale. Each piece in this collection speaks to the sense of movement and rhythm, channelling an innovative spirit and dynamic interplay of colour. In a studio the group of friend’s dance, contort, twist, and jump, never letting the dust settle, celebrating the transformative power of colour and in their beautiful chaotic energy. Main Story is a UK conceived brand for children aged 2-14 years. We produce clothes for the creative, imaginative, playful world of children. We believe in the importance of the arts, principles of good design and responsible clothing.

Our collections draw on inspiration from the world of art & design. Each piece is designed to be comfortable, and provide ease of movement, using only soft natural fabrications, and organic qualities where available. Pieces that we hope you will pass on to be worn some more after they no longer fit.
