The Missoni Kids’ Fall-Winter ’25 Collection interprets the Maison’s stylistic universe in a mini-me key, re-defining its lines and proportions: the garments – expressly dedicated to little ones – play with unmistakably Missoni motifs and nuances, in a kaleidoscope of geometries that take their cue from tradition before evolving into surprising variations. The timeless allure of black and white animates the collection dedicated to girls, by playing with infinite shades of grey in the raschel knitwear proposals that feature the characteristic Missoni zigzag: from the bon-ton dress to the wide trousers, from the enveloping maxi-cardigan to the details of the sweatshirt with glitter logo, the chevron motif is transformed into an alternating and decisive light and dark contrast. Total black for both the faux fur jacket and jacquard knit jacket with close-fitting proportions, where the embroidered macro zigzag becomes three-dimensional.

Strong colours and energetic tones grace the mini-me garments, which borrow the multi-colour look, in its many facets, from the adult collection: the down jacket and lightly padded overpants are designed for the harshest of climates, while the Mongolian cape – in a sophisticated shade of burgundy – boasts a contrasting printed nylon interior. The milk-hued sweatshirts with trompe-l’oeil raschel inserts and sporty flavour are contrasted by the floaty chiffon dresses, while the original Seagull stitch bestows a unique embossed effect upon the knitted trousers. Last but not least, natural nuances characterise the most formal proposals: the coat with Sixties line, the jacket and skirt ensemble and the viscose jacquard dress are available in an elegant cream colour on which the zigzag is more discreet, before then becoming more evident in its interpretation in multicoloured sequins and warm tones.

The proposals for boys choose the characteristic Missoni chevron as the leitmotif of the collection, in its many different manifestations: in the jacket and trouser ensemble, it transforms into an all-black tonal jacquard, while in the down jacket, it becomes a play of stitching, and a printed graffiti effect in the sweatshirt. The classic coat and double-breasted caban are crafted from the exclusive Caperdoni loom to create the zigzag in shades of grey, as well as on the Linz-knit sweater and sweatshirt that combines contrasting jersey and knit. The original combination of jersey and raschel also features in the mini-me proposals inspired by the lines of the Men’s collection: the trousers and sweatshirt and the T-shirt and polo shirt alternate the solid colour of the exquisitely autumnal nuances with the explosion of colour provided by the kaleidoscopic all-over zigzag. The floating wave print, with an almost three-dimensional effect, is the cornerstone of the new knitwear proposal, alongside the classic macro zigzag and ribbon-effect print. Lastly, intense blue tones embellish the proposals that take their cue from the denim with embroidered chevron motif, combined with knitwear sporting the maxi zigzag and matching raschel T-shirt with degradé overdyeing.

The baby proposals re-interpret the themes of the Collection for both boys and girls in a newborn key, with dresses, rompers and playsuits. The nursery line, on the other hand, comes in the most classic pastel shades, with rompers, blankets and bonnets in traditional light blue and baby pink.

Missoni Kids is a reinterpretation of the brand’s historical canons in a version suitable for little ones. A new point of view that gives life to a line of garments in which the iconic features of the Maison are reinterpreted to meet the tastes and needs of the little ones. Identity features such as the use of slubby yarns, the classic zig-zag, or the patchwork construction are illuminated by new joyful and lively colours.
