AN AFTERNOON IN NEW ORLEANS

An Afternoon in New Orleans has that effortless feeling I love in a fashion story. The city is not simply a background, its faded colours, shutters, balconies and warm light become part of every image. The styling feels equally natural: stripes, soft knits, strong colour and unexpected layers that never look too perfect or too styled. There is a lovely contrast between the quiet attitude of the model and the personality of the streets around her.
Created by Dope Style Kid x Jennifer Grasso, the story feels like an afternoon spent wandering without a plan, discovering one corner after another. Fashion, colour and a city with a very particular soul. (Petra Barkhof)
