Sono da sempre affascinata dall’illustrazione nella moda. Ultimamente la vedo tornare con forza anche nel lusso: Hermès, Loewe, Burberry, Gucci, Prada, Dior e Louis Vuitton stanno riscoprendo il potere dell’immagine disegnata. Forse perché, in un mondo pieno di immagini perfette, l’illustrazione porta qualcosa di più raro: una mano, un punto di vista, un piccolo mondo immaginario.

Per questo ho voluto dare più spazio anche a “Summer in Patterns”, il fashion editorial illustrato da Alejandra Salvatore e styled by me, già pubblicato nell’ultimo swipe-through issue di Scimparello e ora anche online sul sito. (Petra Barkhof)
